Spring Pizza

A friendly woman answered and guided me to the proper entrance, explaining that there was only one and that she was waiting outside. I walked around and found her at the front of the restaurant. Once inside, I informed her that I was there to pick up my order, and thankfully, she knew exactly what I was referring to. Great! Then the bartender appeared behind her, and the kind lady brought out my pizza and wings. I checked out and headed home, hoping the food would be better than the customer service I had experienced, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. For the price, the large pizza I received was the smallest I’ve ever seen—costing $33.96 for a large pizza and 10 wings, before tip. In terms of taste, we rated the pizza a 3 out of 5; it was decent but nothing remarkable. The wings were an okay size; the Parmesan garlic flavor was nice, but the Cajun wings were somewhat overly salty. We live 5.7 miles away, but they do not offer delivery. We enjoy supporting local businesses, but this experience was quite disappointing. Our search for good pizza in Spring continues.

We had an incredible experience! The dining room and outdoor patio were vibrant without feeling overcrowded. The pizza was outstanding, and the goat cheese salad was delightful. The wine was reasonably priced too. I would say this is my top restaurant recommendation to date!

I strongly recommend that you think about setting a limit on your delivery fees. I've heard from three households in Northgate Crossing, just 2.5 miles away, that have decided to stop ordering from you due to the delivery fee being over $7. In fact, it might be more beneficial for your business to not offer delivery at all rather than risk alienating potential customers with such high charges. This approach feels like a misstep in your business strategy.

I visited Prohibition Texas Bar last night for their Thursday Night steak special. Their website advertised a price of $13.95, but I discovered that the price had recently increased to $15.95 without any update on the website. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were friendly. Our total bill, including drinks and food, came to $42.90. However, upon checkout, I noticed an additional charge of $4.26 on the bill, which included a food surcharge of $3.13 and a drink surcharge of $0.42. Because the tip is added at the end, I ended up paying an extra $0.71 tip on all the surcharges. Since the food was just mediocre, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Our server was blunt and lacking in courtesy, which didn’t enhance our experience. Additionally, there are no refills on soft drinks, which is quite disappointing. The overall quality of the staff and the menu gave off a vibe of mediocrity, especially for a place trying to present itself as a high-end restaurant. Even many upscale places offer refills! Now, regarding the pizza, everyone in our group found it just ‘meh.’ It tasted no better than Pizza Hut and certainly didn’t compare to Mod Pizza. The prices were incredibly high for what we received. They charged full price for a pizza that had very few toppings, and we ended up paying the same amount for half of it, which didn’t seem fair at all. All in all, I have no intention of returning.
