Ye Olde Fighting Cocks - St Albans

Great pub with delicious food and fantastic staff. They also have plenty of screens for watching sports. The fireplace adds a nice touch as well. I couldn't ask for anything more!

I had a fantastic weekend trip with my wife. The food and service were exceptional. We would definitely choose to stay here again. One suggestion: the restrooms near the bar could use some updating.

I visited for the first time and was truly impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional service. Pete and Claudia were especially friendly, and the food was outstanding. I will definitely return!

I had a great experience at this lovely pub with a charming beer garden. I wanted to visit since it claims to be the oldest pub in England, and it certainly didn't disappoint. When I went on a Sunday, it wasn't very crowded, so there were still seats available outside, though the inside was full. The outdoor area has some shaded sections in case it rains, which is a nice touch. I chose the pork roast, and it was delicious. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly.

We enjoyed a lovely sunny evening in the garden. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive—well done! I tried a pizza, which was delicious. Definitely worth a visit, although it can get quite busy.
