The Bras d'Or Lakes Inn

Restaurant serves good food, good wine and reasonable prices. Easy to have dinner at the hotel after a day of driving, hiking or sightseeing!

It had been four years since we'd been here and Rhoda remembered and greeted us!Carol was our server and treated us like GOLD! Patti had the scallop special while I opted for the Parisienne striploin which was cooked to perfection! A half-litre of white wine and a couple of Labatt's Blue made for simply an astonishing meal. A few minutes In the gift shop and fifty bucks later after paying the bill for the meal and we were on our way back to the marina.You can bet your boots we'll be back.Thank you so much!

The Owners and eating experience was delightful. Great menu and the "specials of the day" were mouth watering.

Jean-Paul & Rhoda are lovely hosts. They take care of business without being fussy, and the evening meals are great. The continental breakfast is simple, fresh, and good. And--when I could find them--the warm scones were to die for. No cellophane-wrapped pastries of questionable provenance here. (Farley Mowat ate here, so it has to be good!)The Inn and lodging are well maintained. The beds are good and the floors are comfortable--obviously with very-good padding under the carpet. Everything has been kept up and upgraded. Bathroom in our room was new and spotless.

I had went to this place for supper with my family and it was great our only issue was they had someone singing whom was obviously tone deaf. Great food and excellent service.
