Chums Shrimp Shack - St. Charles

Chums is an excellent spot for seafood lovers! They offer delicious options like grilled walleye and catfish. The catfish is marinated, giving it a fantastic flavor that doesn’t have a fishy taste. Both the coleslaw and fries are tasty as well. The owner and chef are welcoming and happy to answer any questions you might have. I sampled both the walleye and catfish and enjoyed them immensely, especially the grilled walleye paired with fries, which I plan to order again. I highly recommend you visit soon; my wife and I have always had a great experience there. The atmosphere is cozy and has an authentic vibe.

You definitely get your money's worth at this restaurant. The flavors in their sandwiches and wraps are outstanding, and their shrimp bowls served over fries or slaw are absolutely delicious. It’s also convenient to order ahead through their app.

This was our first time. We ordered fried shrimp, oysters, and hush puppies to go. Everything was delicious! The best fried oysters I've ever had. Friendly, smiling service. We will definitely be back!

Fresh and delicious! We ordered a lb of beer battered shrimp and onion rings and both were fresh out of the fryer and so tasty. Not something that I would necessarily want to have all the time but the food was on point. Will definitely come again.

I enjoyed a half pound of crispy shrimp served with cocktail sauce. The shrimp was delicious, and the breading was just right. The person working there, who might be the owner, was also very friendly.
