We have eaten here when we come to St. Thomas over many years and it was always a very busy and wonderful place to dine. On this occasion we went and were surprised to find it nearly empty. We had a table outside, again with no problems as it was empty of diners and it’s nice to sit by the water, which is about the only good thing about our experience. The menu had changed and our waitress explained that it was the new, new menu as the owner sometime ago changed the old menu into another and have now changed it to this menu which leaves off several favorites like conch fritters. The back room which I was always full before is now a store room and they were only one or two tables with diners inside. I wanted to order a drink but the bar is empty of virtually everything except for rum. A simple drink like a martini wasn’t even possible. The ones thay used to serve were outstanding. We had fish dinners of tuna and snapper which were only average (being nice here)compared to other places in St. Thomas and compared to our past experience at this restaurant. The lack of people and an unstocked bar suggested this restaurant may be in trouble. I always used to recommend it to people but if this continues you should STAY AWAY.
Weren't open. Even though they allowed a reservation we showed up and they were closed
They were not open! We counted on open table to make reservations only for restaurants that were in fact open. This was not the case here. They were closed for the season. Luckily we found a table at another nearby fine restaurant. We were very disappointed.
The food was good and the staff was very friendly! The service alone would make me go back. Outdoor eating was relaxing!
