If you like this kind of local "homecooked" food you will be hard pushed to find any better in southwest germany! the place is charming and fun and the food superb, service very accommodating. check it out but make sure you have a reservation

Set in a quiet back street in a modern looking House You will be transfixed when you come through the door. Its like walking into a Mountain Chalet Style Restaurant with wooden walls, floors and furnishings. Great cosy and informal anbiance! The menu is typical Swabian with good honest food and delicacies such as dumplings with wild mushrooms, boiled beef, apple fritters and local vegetable ravioli served in broth. The wine list is good with many top local wines you would not find elsewhere. This place gets busy and I would recommend booking in advance. Top service with husband and wife running the kitchen and serving the guests. If you are in Stuttgart and want an authentic evening this place is a must!
