I arrived here, only to find that they are closed, even though their hours indicate they should be open.

We dine there whenever we have the opportunity. Today, we were the only customers in the restaurant, and we were treated like the owner's most cherished guests. The food is delicious, generous in portions, and reasonably priced. If you enjoy genuine country cooking and excellent service, this is the place to be.

I found the prices to be excessive. We paid $36 for two buffet meals that included catfish fried in old grease that tasted burnt, nearly burnt and greasy fried shrimp, undercooked hush puppies and fries, and sour sweet tea. The trays were dirty, and there was an unpleasant odor in the dining area. The dessert that was supposed to be included was nowhere to be found. Additionally, we had to wait for the buffet to be replenished at 5:30 PM. For just a little more money, we could have enjoyed excellent, fresh seafood at Pappadeaux!

We stopped by for lunch today and both ordered cheeseburgers, and we were really impressed! The burgers were a hefty 1/2 pound, topped with grilled onions, and they were juicy with excellent flavor. You also have the option of fries or veggies from the buffet. We'll definitely be returning!
