Turns out it’s a Sate Bulayak complex! Very similar concept to a Hawker Centre or Sate Taichan Senayan. Bulayak means their lontong (rice cake) which is pretty unique because the shape is like a stick (1k IDR per Bulayak) I ordered the mix portion (Chicken n Beef Skewers) for 30K IDR.. the satay (skewers) are small, soft n chewy.. at first glance, the sauce looks similar to the typical indonesia peanut satay sauce but actually it’s called Paleleh. No nuts in it, tastes like a mild curry (spices) Btw, the place also sells quite a lot of traditional snacks such as Dodol (sweet sticky confection) and local fruits
