Vien Dong - Tacoma

This place deserves only one star because the server was really nice. I chased a hot bowl pho and was in the Tacoma area at the time, so I saw the next Pho place. this restaurant was closest, so I decided to go here. When I came in, I was met with a very rough smell in the restaurant. it smells like a used cat throw box to be honest that should have been my first sign, but I decided to give it just one shot. I ordered a large bowl pho, gyoza and a coca cola. the camera was okay, I would have better. the gyoza was pretty good. the server brought me a cup of ice water and a cup of ice for my soda. I poured my soda into the cup of ice and drank it. I do that where I am finished with my soda and I am left with ice, I pour my water into the ice cup that once had my soda. I filled the cup of ice with the water and wanted to drink the rest of the water that wasn't fit in the other cup, but I'm so glad I didn't want to drink the cup back all the way. I stopped drinking in the middle because there were these white things at the bottom of my cup! I was almost excited because I was so close to drinking whatever that was! I had to take a picture. I was so disgusting! that was the worst culinary experience I had. I went to the toilet room, just for the case that I had to throw up and I almost did. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

The first time in the lincoln district. we came across this little whole in the Vietnamese Wall Restaurant. we had a runway mi, 2 spring rolls, 1 deep fried egg roll and a variation of the sommee with tons of different meat inside. the whole food was tasteful and delicious. very fresh. the personal was very friendly and accentuated. highly recommended!

The first time here and will stop a regular. eating and service were excellent. I still see so many dishes I want to try. When I talked to the staff after dinner, they told me that they were worried that my visit was the best ever. they were also very proud of their restaurant and the traditions they offer. highly recommended!

I went for the first time with a friend who is a regular customer. eating is fresh and well seasoned. relaxed environment. will go back

Really quick service. Food is amazing. Staff are very friendly. Definitely a “must-try” in Tacoma. Get in early as it gets pretty packed towards the afternoon.
