I found that the food was all delicious. We arrived at 1 PM, and the restaurant wasn't crowded, which was nice. However, there were a lot of flies circling when the food was served, and the candles on the table didn't help much to keep them away. At one point, a fly went into the sauce, and we informed the waiter. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't seem to care or take any action. Luckily, it was just the sauce and not the entire dish, so we removed it ourselves and continued our meal. The restaurant does accept credit card payments, but their system wasn't working when we visited, so we had to pay in cash. Overall, while the food was delicious, the issue with flies and the non-functional credit card system were disappointing. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the dining experience. We usually eat lunch at Rustica Concepcion or at Cabanatuan on our way to Isabela. And we never miss to order their Crispy Pata. Food is good here. For me, the interior design of this branch is a lot nicer. The wooden fixtures compliment the menu that they serve traditional Filipino food. They have an outside seating too amidst the garden foliage. And a parking lot in front. The only setback when we last ate there was the mode of payment. They only accept cash.

Salted Prawn: The salted prawn at Rustica is nothing short of amazing! The savory flavor is delightful, and it’s an absolute must-try for seafood lovers. Roasted Beef: While the roasted beef was okay, it didn’t quite stand out. It might benefit from some additional seasoning or a different cooking technique. Pinakbet: Now, the pinakbet stole the show! Rustica’s version of this classic Filipino dish is the best I’ve ever tasted. The combination of vegetables, shrimp paste, and flavors is simply outstanding. Melon Shake: To top it off, their melon shake is a refreshing treat. It’s perfect for quenching your thirst on a warm day.
