Schaefer's Wharf - Tomahawk

It's not the same place anymore, but the new spot, called the Tilted Loon Saloon, is excellent!

We had a stunning view of the lake from the patio while dining. The service was exceptional. The taco wrap and pulled pork sandwich were fantastic. The pizza was just okay, so I likely wouldn't order it again.

The food was excellent, and the locals were wonderful to chat with. However, our waitress was quite rude. A change in her attitude would have greatly improved our experience and raised the rating.

This place is great. Awesome food, amazing view, fantastic atmosphere. The staff is fun and friendly and the decor is awesome on the inside and out! The food is fast, accurate and delicious.

Our first night in town, we rented a lake home for our small family to get away. Once settled, we needed to run into town and grab a few groceries. Driving past Schaefer's Wharf, looked nice being right on the lake. We had 2 small kids and were hungry, didn't look to busy for a Friday night so we stopped. Food was very disappointing, with it all appearing to have fallen off a Sysco truck and into a fryer. The Salad bar that came with the fish fry looked too sad to make even 1 pass through. The deck overlooking the lake was really the only enjoyable part of dinner.
