The potato salad was reminiscent of a leftover baked potato—not bad, just different. My wife really enjoyed the Casa corn, and the beans were tasty as well. After our meal, we attended a beef seminar where we learned a lot about the beef industry and the meaning behind some common terminology. Justin, who led the seminar, was very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions about beef production and how it all works. If you're interested in buying in bulk, you can order a full deep freeze of fresh meat that will be ready by next spring. Overall, the brisket was fantastic!
Disappointed. The food simply lacked flavor. We chose this place based on the reviews, but our experience was quite different from what we expected.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was disappointed. The menu lists sandwiches (any meat) for $10.50, but when I ordered two sliced beef sandwiches, I was charged $12.50 each. When I inquired about the price difference, the woman taking my order informed me that brisket incurs a $2.00 upcharge—information not mentioned anywhere on the menu board. I felt it was a total ripoff, and I won’t be returning.
The ribs are always great! I eat there once a week...ribs and link of sausage. Very tender and great flavor. I definitely recommend you stop in...you won't be disappointed!!
The food wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't anything close to the best barbecue I've ever had. The corn was great, but the brisket was dry and lacked flavor. There are so many other great barbecue restaurants to go to instead of this one.
