Park House Cafe & Restaurant

With a great (all day) breakfast menu, good service and a layout that gives plenty of choice for tables (inside near the fire or able to see the park across the way with their fully glassed eating area - or outside when the weather is good), Park House is a well set up for getting together with friends, work colleagues or dining alone. I find their feta hot cakes or corn fritters are so good I often have them for lunch too!

We were lucky to come across this chic cafe while bike riding round Queens Park.The menu tempted us to have an early lunch and I chose the curried chick pea pie. Vegetarian pies seem to be hard to get right ,but the chef had nailed this one. A fragrant, lightly curried filling in delicious buttery pastry, served with salad and a few deliciously browned potatoes. The meal was well balanced and felt healthy in spite of the pastry. My partner was equally impressed with his BLAT.The coffee was good, the service excellent and the garden delightful. A little treasure, perhaps often missed by visitors like us. Make sure you go.

It was a cold day so once inside nice and warm, perhaps a little too warm in main area so sat out in the lower area. Drinks arrived but no one came back to do our menu order. I had to go up and ask. Then food took a while. had to run down and put another couple of hours on parking metre! When food arrived it was lovely and the coffee was great. Ordered sparkling waters but they never arrived so we decided to head off.

This is my go-to coffee or lunch spot. Great for a quiet lunch for two or a catch up with a group of friends. Great value for money, great food and central location,

My friend and I visited here on the weekend on a day trip to Toowoomba. What a treat! Such a cozy and inviting atmosphere, great service and absolutely amazing food. We were blown away with everything we ordered and how efficient the turn around was. I ate the haloumi burger and helped my friend finish off a serving of cinnamon toast. Definitely coming here again.
