Mikro Coffee Roasters - Torquay

I had a wonderful experience at a fantastic micro roastery in Torquay. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I also found out that they offer coffee sourced from Australia, specifically from the Tablelands region near Cairns in Queensland. I ended up buying the Australian coffee, and it was excellent, reminiscent of Brazilian coffee beans.

I absolutely loved the coffee! The venue itself has so much character. I really appreciated the 'dog parking' spot they provide; it's a thoughtful touch. I could easily spend hours just admiring the fascinating items throughout the space. I can't wait to go back!

This café and roastery is truly top-notch! The team here is incredibly passionate about serving exceptional coffee. Having been in this location for just over a year, it's tough to believe Torquay managed without them. You can unwind and savor your latte in a serene setting, surrounded by the delightful aroma of roasting beans. Don’t miss the impressive triple group espresso machine with its clear back and sides! The staff is very friendly, or you can simply relax and take advantage of the free Wi-Fi. This spot could easily become my new go-to coffee office!

Credit where credit is due... my wife and I experienced our first ‘Mikro’ coffee when we ordered a decaf at our local café, it was absolutely amazing... so much so that I ordered 1kg and received it in 2 days (Torquay to Point Cook, not to hard) pretty happy, tasted just as awesome at home. Previous I had sourced a very similar water processed decaf from a QLD Coffee roaster at twice the price per Kg and to be honest Mikro coffee’s decaf tastes oh so much better. I only wish we drank enough to warrant subscribing to your 14 day subscription at a 20% discount, regardless you have won our business as your current pricing is quite competitive for the quality product you provide.

Excellent coffee. Excellent chai. Great to have to choice, powder or loose leaf. Really cool to have to roasting stuff right there in the cafe. Pallets of green beans. Smells **** great!!! I’ll be back for coffee...
