Pear Tree Cafe - Torquay

So good Pizzas and very large one at $23.00 does two adequately. We had the pilled pork with cabbage in plum sauce so very different and so good. Will be back again in the summer , then it will be a perfect place for dinner and a summer walk along the beach.

Pizza was top quality, lovely service, quick and good value for money, one pizza fed both of us and we are big eaters!We had vegetarian pizza and it was one of the best ones we have ever had! Looking forward to the next one.Loved it.

We visited the restaurant out of seasone, and so were served promptly and efficiently. The food was excellent and the serves were larger than we expected. We ate at the footpath tables because we didn't like the music volume, but each to his own. We were so impressed that we returned the next day, but this time we shared a meal. It was still enough for us.

We found Italo's by accident whilst looking for another pizza restaurant. Italo's is a reincarnation of the Pear Tree Cafe and is a traditional Italian pizza pasta restaurant. The pizzas are generous in size and the traditional bases are covered with a range of good quality toppings. The service was friendly and well timed and the prices very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised and if ever in Torquay would make it a pit stop.

Didn't think much of this place prior to its recent reincarnation into a pizza restaurant. Now I've become a regular. Their pizza is as good as it gets and this is due to their beautiful bases and quality toppings. My favourite is the prosciutto pizza. See you soon, and well done on a stellar job!
