I waited several minutes, but NO ONE came out with my churros. I was hungry, and I knew my family was too, so I just headed home. When we finally opened our order, we found mostly chicken legs, rice (instead of beans), a scant half-container of salad that barely fed two (the meal is supposed to feed four), and I received both corn and flour tortillas, but no churros at all. If you're in a hurry and decide to stop by this location on Crenshaw Blvd., be prepared to receive what they choose to give you, rather than what you actually ordered. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
Great food but they always forget something. One time it's the churros the next it's the chips and guacamole. However, the majority of the food does make it to the table and it is always delicious.
When I Arrived at this Location, I Discovered that All the Parking Spaces were not Available for Any Uses, Because of Repairs. Yet the Drive Thur was Open, and there was a Line.The El Pollo Loco Team Members were Working Very Fast and Efficiently, Because the Line Moved Quickly, And that's Why I Really Appreciate the Team Members of this Location for their Politeness and Professionalism, and the Food is Always Delicious.Thank You to All the Team Members and to El Pollo Loco, Sincerely, Ray Spoon of Gardena.
I usually don't like to leave reviews, but this time I had to do something. the girl on the drive-thru window was extremely unprofessional and rude. she was giggling on the orderbox as if she was talking to another worker about something, then she swept for half a minute before she took my order. After my order she had me waited for 3 minutes to give me the sum. there was no other car in front of me, so she wasn't busy charging someone, just talking. I'm going to the window, she doesn't say hello, nor the sum, just keeps her hand out to take my money. what a sweat. If she doesn't like her job, go somewhere else or don't work in retail. bad customer service, bad management. prob will never go back.
While waiting for my order (numbers 361 and 362), I observed the staff preparing food and noticed multiple employees handling food without gloves. I saw the cashier ringing up orders, handling cash, and then immediately going to pack food with the same hands that had just touched money, which we all know can be dirty. I then witnessed another employee scratch her hair and use the same hand to reach into a chip bucket and pack chips with her bare hands. Speaking of chips, I wasn't sure if this was part of the restaurant's procedure, but it seemed like every employee avoided wearing gloves. They would take a chip bag, scoop chips with one bare hand, then use their other bare hand to grab more chips, and finally wrap the bag. Each employee followed this exact process, which raised concerns about the restaurant’s food handling practices. Are we not still in the aftermath of a pandemic? It only got worse from there. After I received my order, I returned home, and my husband headed to work. During his lunch break, he called me to say, "I bit into my tacos and found a nail in it?!" That completely ruined my appetite, and we ended up not eating any of the food we bought. What a waste of money, time, and food!
