Jimmy John's - Tuscola

I come here quite a bit some times through the drive through and sometimes I order delivery and usually it’s pretty good between the service and the food but today was awful! I just left the drive through and the guy at the window acted like he was annoyed that I was even there not only that but I felt like they were moving way slower than normal ‍ Could just be me on that part but I got food at two other places for my children and our longest wait was here anyways if I do come back it’s gonna be a while and probably deff not through the drive through! Hope things get better there!

Got turkey tom with light mayo and avocado, came with lots of mayo and the avocado tastes like onions, and something on it was definitely bad, can't eat the 2nd half it's to gross, and has severely upset my stomach. Recently, I visited the Jimmy John's located in Tuscola, Illinois, just 20 minutes south of Champaign and 30 minutes from Charleston, home to Eastern Illinois University and the origin of the famous sandwich chain. Typically, I've encountered Jimmy John's in strip malls, often positioned at the corner of a building, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this one as a standalone establishment. After a less-than-stellar experience at a nearby Love's, I opted to park at a charming little mom-and-pop fuel stop, where I spotted the Jimmy John's conveniently nearby. What caught my attention first was that this location has a drive-thru, which was unexpected for me given my previous experiences. As I approached, I noticed a spacious outdoor dining patio, and upon entering through the side door, I was again taken aback by how large the dining area was. I was greeted promptly and saw other patrons enjoying their meals, all of which looked delicious. Before diving into my meal, I made sure to wash my hands and use the restroom. I appreciated that they offered gender-neutral single-stall bathrooms, making it accessible for everyone. Once I settled in, I decided to order the Italian Night Club, a sandwich I’ve enjoyed before. I requested it without onions and added Dijon mustard, which is my personal favorite. I also got a side of crispy chips and a fountain drink. The quality of the sandwich was outstanding—clearly, this location takes great pride in its fresh bread and meats, making for a tasty experience. Overall, I left very satisfied and thrilled to have a Jimmy John's just a stone's throw away from where I can park my truck. I’ll definitely be returning to this location, as it’s a great convenience and a delicious option on my travels!

I highly recommend trying the sandwich and the provolone avocado – they're both standouts! The service was exceptional, receiving a perfect 5. The atmosphere was also enjoyable, rated at 4. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying lunch!
