I really enjoyed the barbecue duck Lo Mein, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't greasy. The only downside was that the battered shrimp and fried wontons were a bit soggy upon delivery, but still delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child with my parents. Now I bring my own kids, and they love it just as much as I do. I can confidently say that the broth here can cure any cold, and my kids could eat the BBQ pork non-stop if I let them. Don't miss out on the wonton noodle soup - you'll be hooked after just one bite.
I have been dining at this restaurant since 1993 when I moved from Toronto to Victoria. I must say, not only is the food incredibly delicious, but the BBQ pork dumpling noodle soup is phenomenal! I love you guys!
A reasonable Chinese bakery, certainly better than Victoria BBQ House Bakery around the corner. Having said that, it wasn't on par with the ones I've tried in Calgary and Vancouver. The bread portion of each bun I sampled was quite good but the filling left something to be desired. The red bean paste was less sweet than I remember from other Chinese bakeries as well. Overall, a pretty solid offering and the best available option for this category that I've found in Victoria (better the place I mentioned earlier in the review and Sally Bun).
Great spot for authentic Hong Kong/Cantonese cuisine in Victoria. This place along with Don Mee (Dim Sum) and Golden City are my three favorite Chinese restaurants in Victoria. They also have bakery and BBQ meat offering too. The food quality is top notch and the taste is just as good as the best from the mainland. Definitely the top 3 best Chinese restaurants on the Island.
