Pork On A Fork - W Deer Valley Rd

The taste and portions were both very good. One pulled pork sandwich had a little too much fat on It though. It is a place to get food to go as the table seating is nothing to rave about and the place needs a good cleaning and an up date. I might consider them for catering my next event as good Bar B Q is hard to find and I saw several trucks.

We had them delivered for a manager's meeting. Bree is the best! So I ordered through their website and checked out as a guest. Apparently I must've entered my email wrong because I never got an email. When the driver delivered, there was no itemized receipt. I had to call the store to see if they can send one over, since the accounting dept was bugging me for a receipt. I spoke with Bree. She said there was a lunch rush, but to give her a few mins to text it to me. It did take closer to an hour to get to me, but I'm not complaining. She saved my behind because I needed it to turn in to accounting. She even called me afterward to make sure I got it. The food was excellent, too. None of the 4 people who ordered had ANY complaints. As a matter of fact, we all ended up taking their little sauce cups home. I had the brisket bowl with mac/rice sides. I wish I had gotten a bigger plate. I inhaled that food so fast. I will definitely order again, even if the company does not.

We decided to get takeout from this restaurant on a weekday at 4:00. It was not busy and the service was very friendly. We both ordered the 1/2 pork sandwich, Arizona style with green chiles and a BBQ sour cream sauce, along with 2 sides. The bun was dry and plain, not what I would expect for a $15 meal. It was too small for the amount of meat in the sandwich. The meat itself was moist and juicy, but lacked flavor. It seemed like it had not been seasoned before being smoked. The toppings and sauces were what gave the sandwich its flavor, not the meat itself. The bbq beans were runny and the Mac n cheese was dry. It was not a satisfying meal overall. It's possible that the quality of the bun and sides was affected by the time of day we ordered (lunch time), but I would not order from here again. The staff was friendly and efficient.

OK, I love this place. I have been going here way before they got digital screens. They change the menu a little on how it was set up and everything, but I still love it.. I find it sad that the price went up, because if you go in the afternoon, the people are a little bit more lazy at covering up the food and the chicken is dry in the afternoon. I am happy when I go there around lunchtime because the food is perfect. I just find it sad that I go there for a date night and the food isn't the best. So go there midday and you'll get a great and a good experience.

Who ever gave this place anything less than 5 stars doesn't know what they are talking about. Brisket was perfect
