Not sure if simply peruvian taste? If you are looking for typical Western Chinese takeout, there are better spots.
Stop for dinner. Menu is extensive and food came out quickly. Chickens and beans were edible, but nothing special.
If you have food allergies, beware! The servers are quite busy and therefore not forthcoming. The menu doesn't give you details of ingredients. We had two folks with shellfish allergies, and due to quick thinking on the part of one member of our party (who ASKED the waiter directly), a crisis was averted. The people who work there are nice, but the service is very, very slow.
I was a little worried when my local friend told me we were going out for Chinese, as I have had bad experiences in the past. This was a nice surprise though. The restaurant was clean and modern, and the staff were attentive. What I was not prepared for however was the portions. There is no way one person can possibly finish the amount of food they bring you. The food was good, but there was so much of it.
I was determined to try Chifa as soon as I arrived to Peru, and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel as the best Chifa in Cusco. It was down the hill and across the busy Avenida del Sol, and appears to be a big local favorite spot. The interior is big and clean. The service is ok, a bit slow, but not rude. Make sure you speak good Spanish as the menu is entirely in Spanish. While this is not necessarily a tourist spot, that shouldn't deter an adventurous traveler! The food was good and very different than your typical Peruvian restaurant.
