Pita Pit - Warrensburg

I found it to be a fantastic place with a wonderful concept. Unfortunately, they've shut down.

I walked in to find a girl cooking in a sports bra and spandex shorts, preparing food and grabbing items from the line. As someone who works in a kitchen, I feel they could use a refresher on food handling practices. The thought of someone’s bare armpit hovering over my food is pretty off-putting.

Firstly, their phone number doesn't work.So when you get all the way home and realize they didn't put rice and quinoa in the bowls you ordered, you'll have to go to the restaurant to get that fixed.Secondly, their workers don't keep their hair completely up. Loose ponytails might be cute, but should not be worn on a food line. It isn't safe for food or workers.Food was good. I just wish there wasn't always something wrong with what I order.Overall, a disappointing experience.
