Red Lion Penketh - Warrington

Amazing food! Friendly staff and fantastic environment: me and my girlfriend came here the other day for some food and drinks for the football, we both had steaks which were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully would definitely recommend coming here!

Visited the red lion today. Really glad it's back open. On arrival first thing I noticed was the work that's been down to the exterior of the pub, all the outside seating area has been repainted and looks really inviting, only waiting for the sunshine.The inside has also had a repaint. Since my last visit.Staff were friendly and helpful as usuall, Food was excellent as usuall and still great value for money.Keep up the good work we will be back soon.

So good to be able to visit the Red Lion again for a an excellent meal and a few drinks. Service was excellent, staff smiling and looking so happy to back doing what they do best. Food was hot tasty and excellent value for money. So nice see people enjoying themselves again. Matt the general manager even took time to ask the kids how they were. It's the little things that mean so much.

Popped on for a drink and lunch. Extremely poor quality food. It was clearly cheap frozen stuff. Really awful and inedible. The staff were nice enough but it was freezing in there with young kids running around everywhere. Just awful.
