Doherty's Ale House - Warwick

I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, which came loaded with lettuce, tomato, and your choice of bleu cheese or ranch on a brioche bun. I opted for ranch, as it’s the superior choice. I also added cheddar cheese for good measure. The meal arrived in about 10 minutes, and I was impressed by the thick, crispy chicken that was served piping hot. The bun was fresh and soft, and the veggies were abundant and crisp. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the sandwich. The fries were thick and crispy, and they tasted like they were freshly cut. Overall, I wasn't expecting such a delightful meal. With a fantastic beer selection, excellent service, and great bar food, I hope to return here for work again soon!

We began our meal with the Chicken Quesadilla, which came with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. It was absolutely delicious! We devoured it so quickly that you’d think it was Thanksgiving! For my main course, I chose the Pasta Harissa, while my boyfriend opted for the fish and chips. I really enjoyed my dish; it had a nice kick to it, and I saved half for lunch the next day. In my opinion, the fish was the highlight—flaky, crispy, and not greasy at all! Despite its size and being conveniently located between two hotels, the place seemed a bit empty, which is puzzling. Nevertheless, we definitely plan to return!

I kicked off my experience with a Trippel Belgian that packed a punch at 8.4% ABV, but it delivered a delightful flavor. I also sampled the Smittynose Porter, which had rich flavors that were perfect for the fall season. In the end, I chose the MA/VT Microbrew Collaboration Pilsner, which had a lovely floral scent. For my meal, I opted for the Banh Mi. I wasn't aware it came with Japanese white sauce, which I typically prefer to avoid. I have a fondness for traditional Banh Mi, as I consider it a true French-Vietnamese culinary gem. I would recommend they either omit the sauce or serve it on the side, because the sandwich itself was absolutely delicious! My server was fantastic—she really went above and beyond. Brian, the manager, also came over to check on my food and drinks, which I found very impressive. All in all, this place is a hidden gem. Well done! I highly recommend it!

I visited for the first time on September 8, 2017. I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meal arrived piping hot, with steam rising from the plate. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, while the green beans were fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The mashed potatoes were also quite good. For dessert, I had the sundae brownie, which came with ice cream, caramel, and chocolate sauce drizzled over a rich fudge brownie. Check out the photos! The menu has something for everyone, including fish and chips, burgers, and salmon. The customer service was excellent too.

Love this restaurant! They have a huge beer selection of all different kinds of beers so there's something for everyone. I love how they label the beers so you know what kind each is. They also have fusions where they mix different beers together to make something tasty. For food, their burgers are the best. They come on a warm buttered brioche bun and there's several different options to choose from. They have a huge parking lot out front so parking is easy and the restaurant itself is pretty large also. I enjoy sitting at the big bar. They'll let you taste any beer you want if you just ask!
