I robbed my mom here while she was in town. nice location. great eating. the attentive staff. I'd come back here again and again. very recommended! spaghetti and meatballs should die!

During a brief visit to DC, I tried the unique Caesar salad and the delicious seafood chitarra. While there were many tasty seafood options, I wasn't a fan of my pasta. My wife ordered the wild boar special, and my daughter had the mushroom special (which was truly mushroom-centric!). The dishes looked great in today's special pictures. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and were wowed by both the wild boar and mushroom dishes—they were amazing!

The intimate setting, with small tables and an open kitchen, creates a vibrant atmosphere for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine that doesn't come with inflated prices. There’s a touch of home-style warmth in the dishes, showing that they were made with care and love, but don’t let that fool you into thinking the food is simple or ordinary—it's anything but. This place is great for a date night or celebrating special occasions, and fortunately, it doesn't feel stuffy or exclusive.

We absolutely adored the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. They serve bread and oil at the table, which is quite tempting, so be sure to resist the urge to overindulge! I opted for the house red wine, the meatballs as an appetizer, and the cacio e pepe—everything was delicious! My friend had the lasagna, and it was fantastic as well. Food: 5/5.
