The manager at the 19th and L Street location in NW DC is fantastic! His name is Jimmy, and he brings such a positive energy, which his staff mirrors perfectly. While the food is delicious, it's the service that truly shines! Food: 5/5

Chopt is a go-to. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t actually chop your salad anymore unless you ask! A customized Palm Beach is my usual order (kale, palms, cucumber, tomato, egg whites, chicken with Smokey chipotle).

Orders are never ready for pickup, wait time is very long. And when you ask for help, they just look at you and ignore you like if you don’t exist

On February 6, 2023, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow, and there was a lack of communication among the staff. Additionally, there were no proteins available on the menu. I noticed excessive cross-contamination in the service line, and it seemed that the manager was not effectively utilizing the team members. The toppings were not fresh, and the person handling the base was confused throughout the process. Ultimately, I decided to leave without finishing my order. I won't be returning; it was truly a letdown and a waste of time. Although Sweetgreen at Mt. Vernon is farther away, I believe it's worth the extra effort.
