Just a heads-up: they tend to add a lot of sugar, so at 100% sweetness, the flavors start to blend together. Other than that, it's a wonderful spot that I definitely recommend, and they accept GWorld!
Overall, I would rate this place a 3.5 out of 5. I ordered a large hot Oolong milk tea with boba (50% sweetness) for $6.45, including tax. They only offered large and giant sizes, with the latter costing extra. Unfortunately, the 50% sweetness was still too sweet for my taste. The milk flavor dominated the Oolong tea, and the boba was quite mushy. Despite the positive reviews, I recommend trying a different drink. Coming from the Bay Area, where there are many boba shops, I found this place didn’t meet the quality I expected for the price.
This is my favorite bubble tea spot on this side of DC! I adore all the different flavors, and I appreciate that they update the menu for each season. The staff is always friendly, and the ambiance is charming. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable compared to other places in Georgetown and beyond.
First time in DC and loving it. My daughter found thus place after a nice walk at the Capitol of United States. We had the pulled pork croissant and it's amazing even though it's slightly salty. Still recommend to anyone ??
A small bubble milk tea shop near the GWU campus that is a hidden gem. Besides their delicious milk tea flavors (although their tea could be stronger) and perfectly chewy pearls/boba, what I think they excel at are their croissants. We tried their boba croissant and their monk temple tofu croissant, both of which were quite delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and they decorate for each season (and have seasonal drinks). There's limited seating inside and a few tables outside, so most people usually have orders to go. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, although there are 2 kiosks as well from which one can place an order.Another specialty of theirs is the rabbit foam that can top a drink. Unfortunately, they weren't able to do that when we came, but otherwise, for $3 it adds a cool aesthetic.Note that their secret milk tea is a version of black tea with their own blend of milk (simple syrup and milk). It was on the sweeter side even with 50% sugar, so take heed.
