Caribbean Kitchen - Waterbury

My Husband stopped by to grab himself a bite to eat after working all day. However, the food was mistakenly left inside. He was gone for three mins and turned right back around when he noticed he didn’t have it. When he got back to the store the staff proceeds to tell him he only left the malt drink and he took the food with him. Which was not the case. The staff was very dismissive. However, We will not be eating there again.

I'm a trvu driver and was sitting in Connecticut for a few days. Ordered the jerk chicken rice and peas and steam vegetables, peach cobbler,fried plantain and two coco bread. The chicken was hard like it was sitting all day. Rice was the same but it was not dry the vegetables were OK no seasoning. The plantain were cold like the were cooked around lunch time. They were hard. The coco bread tasted old. The cobbler was bad. It didn't even looked backed. The pastr6the had on it didn't even look like it was brown. If there are any truck drivers around don't waste your money it like the rest of the bad food in truckstops.

I'm originally from NY and my family is from Jamaica, St. Kitts, Trinidad. I often miss home because there's tons of Jamaican spots there BUT this spot here???? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !!!!! My order was correct, nothing missing, the delivery guy was super nice, with a warm, welcoming and positive attitude. THANK YOU for bringing me a little piece of my home, NYC. ?

I’m not quite sure why the prices are so high, but the food is delicious.

I ordered the Escovitch fish and was surprised to receive only half a fish for $20. As I was eating, I discovered what looked like a piece of a scotch brite pad in the food. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place!
