JB O'Reillys tavern - WEST LEEDERVILLE

Love this pub. Lucky to have it but not eaten in the restaurant here for years. The sign said best Sunday roast in Perth. Well that did it for us. So we rocked up for the delicious feast. We both ordered the trio of meats...roast. I don't mind undercooked carrots. Raws ok. Slightly cooked ok. But wifey not impressed. Yorkshire puds require cooking in high temp beef fat preferably. Well that's how we do it at home. And wifeys Irish. These ones were kinda dry and doughy centres. Not light. Ok moving on. I liked the chicken. The lamb was chewy and beef much the same. Not melt in mouth stuff. Well that's my take. Staff as always great in fact all the crew working here spot on. Sorry for negative review because I seriously dig this pub.

Great Irish themed pub in west leederville, Here on a sunday , Quite busy, really excellent atmosphere, live music and great food, Staff were really attentive and we enjoyed a great night there! We will be back!

What a little gem a small piece of Ireland in a delightful area of Perth where expats can gather and feel like they are home if only for an hour or two.The authentic Irish bric a brac mixed with real home cooked tasty food is...a must for any Perth visitor.Very friendly Irish staff add to the homely feel and the fact that locals frequent the premises stands testimony to the quality and service provided.but hey don't take my word for it see for your self.

Came today with my fiancee for lunch, The soup was fantastic, the sausages on the main were beautiful and home made chips were crispy and tasted delicious, The chicken goujons were ****! Processed chicken, not worth Waitress who served us was very helpful...and lovely to deal with! When paying (different server) I mentioned my disappointment with having received what I believe to be a poor quality processed piece of twice crumbed Chicken( ive been commercially cooking for over years) wow was I met with attitude, she became very rude and snapped back at me stating I know it's real chicken not its not processed, you could clearly see it WAS it had no texture and resembled a bought in Schnitzel! I just said she should tell chef to look at the batch as it's definitely not real pure chicken, again she snapped! I just walked out, the response I gave to being asked how everything was was not a personal attack, don't snap at customers for giving their opinion on a meal they paid for! I was being honest! I will definitely dine here again but might avoid Mrs Attitude!

First time here but certainly not the last. Well decorated with interesting memorabilia and a very welcoming host from Ireland (of course) Bar snacks were fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Very much a locals pub were everyone is made welcome. It's better than.. Cheers'. Certainly can't recommend this highly enough give it a try.
