The Butchers Block - West Long Branch

Some might criticize the prices, but the food and service are exceptional and well worth the cost. The staff is incredibly attentive and courteous. Every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. It's also nice that the dessert menu is limited to just two items, as you’ll likely be too full to enjoy more by the time dessert rolls around.

The food was excellent and well worth the price. Everything was top-notch, and the service was outstanding. I really loved the rustic ambiance. The porterhouse steak is a must-try. There are so many options that one visit isn’t enough! It definitely lived up to the expectations.

This is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Both the Snake River Farms Wagyu and the Montana Prime dry-aged for 45 days are outstanding. The restaurant has an upscale atmosphere and the service is impeccable, including a presentation of the meats and cuts before seating. Although the prices are on the higher side, they are reasonable for the quality of the meat and its production. One steak is enough to easily feed two people, and they are happy to cut it into smaller portions if you ask. The spicy rigatoni, Brussels sprouts, and potato sides were also delightful. Mary and John were delightful and their service level complimented the delicious meal we had tuna crudo and octopus which were exquisite, an amazing Black Sea bass, filet and world class rigatoni plus crispy potatoes.The food alone was spectacular but the added angle was the drinks and service during which they added insights, recommendations and overall pleasant conversation.Will def come again to try more dishes, great job !

We have not even eaten here yet and the experience was 5 stars. My husband Rob and I simply walked in to just make a future reservation for a table of 8 for our daughter and her friends. We were greeted by the manager Evan who was fantastic!Not only did he arrange the reservation but he also took the 3 of us on a personal tour. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. It was quite the experience. I'm sure the meal and experience will be just as exciting. Evan is an asset to The Butcher Block !!!!Thank you for the tour.
