Mediterraneo - Westlake Village

We highly recommend dining at Mediterraneo. The experience is outstanding in every way from their service, the timing of you being seated and waited upon, the food and the atmosphere. This is a must for all restaurant goers!

Service was awful. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu, then we had to ask to order as the waiter did not return, and after an hour and 1/2 we had to ask where our dinner was. The food was fine but nothing acceptable. The noise level made it impossible to talk and the AC was so cold at our table, we were uncomfortable throughout dinner. We will not be returning.

We have been here in the past and the experience was good. There was mention that the menu had just turned over so maybe that was the reason that the service was so very slow. Took a long time for every step of our meal waters, bar drinks, appetizer, meals. Some things were forgotten, like my steak sauce which with the slowness meant my steak was getting cold while I waited to ask about it and then waited to get it. We will probably return and see if this was a one off, but it was disappointing.

The chef did a great job. My daughter was looking forward to the butternut squash gnocchi, but it wasn't being offered at this time. She didn't see anything else she wanted so I asked if the chef could make a special order. For what I was asking, he was able to make it for my daughter and it was delicious. Thank you so much!

Hard to believe the harvest salad is off the menu. It was the best salad on the menu. Staff couldn't understand why it was taken off. Guy sitting next to me at bar walked out when he confirmed with Roberto that the salad was no longer available. Bring it back and my review goes back to a 5.
