The Bean - Whakatane

Nice café located at the end of the Strand. There’s a variety of seating options, including couches, comfy chairs, indoor tables, and outdoor seating under awnings. The coffee is excellent, accompanied by a great selection of pastries and snacks. For families, there are high chairs, booster seats, and a couple of boxes filled with toys to keep little ones entertained. They roast their own beans and feature some interesting murals on the walls that illustrate the coffee production process.

Coffee is always sensational but had the Bacon and Scrambled Eggs this morning and they were next level. Will definitely be back for them

Nice food. I had a muffin and a breakfast panini, and both were really nice. Coffee was recommended, and my mocha was yummy. The only problem was space. Not child friendly on the inside, but if you want to sit with your kids, there is space outside.

I had a delightful breakfast on Sunday morning. The poached eggs and bacon on a single slice of toast created a nice balance, and the bagel was excellent. The coffee was fantastic as well. I loved everything, and the prices were very reasonable.
