Amore Mexican Tapas - Wichit

Food is much closer to true Mexican than California Mex. Big selection, everything arrived promptly. Will continue the recommendations to friends.

We really enjoyed our dinner at „Amore Mexican Tapas Bar“. The food and drinks were delicious and arrived very quickly. The servcie was excellent, extremely friendly and polite. We definitely recommend this place if you want to have a typical Mexican dinner!

The Mexican food platter I had was a delightful fiesta of flavors! The tacos were bursting with seasoned meat. The crispy tortilla chips and tangy salsa added a satisfying crunch. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. ¡Buen provecho!

I got the chicken nachos and a classic margarita. I appreciated how the margarita came in a nice heavy rocks glass with a slow melting ice. Points for presentation. Taste was pretty good as well and the price was around average. The restaurant is small and intimate like a cantina. As for the nachos, I really liked the seasoning. (Not sure if it was the chips or sauce). Now for the bad:: a lot of the chips were buried under the toppings and after 4 crunchy chips, it became soggy so I ate most of the “nachos,” or should I say “ plate of chicken cheese,” with a fork. I guess all said, it really hit the spot when craving mexican.

We weren’t planning on having Mexican food tonight but we saw this while we were walking the streets of Phuket old town, and I must say I’ve had one of the best lamb dishes in my life here. We got shrimp quesadillas, shrimp tacos, lamb tacos, beef tacos, and lamb Fajitas (I know, we order too much food! we didn’t like the quesadillas but all the other dishes were amazing, especially the lamb fajitas. Would definitely recommend it!
