Cafe Cornerstone - Windsor

I stumbled upon an unexpectedly charming little cafe near Windsor Station. As you can see from the pictures, they have a neat outdoor setup with wooden barrels and boards for tables, paired with metal high stools. I ordered a couple of bacon and egg rolls along with long blacks, which set me back about $29. The rolls were perfectly toasted, the eggs were cooked just right (with enough runny yolk to ooze out on the first bite), and the tomato relish was delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. I also noticed that the table next to ours had a dog, and the staff kindly provided a makeshift bowl (a bucket) for water. How sweet!

The portions are incredibly generous and the food is delicious! I’m talking about really massive servings, and I usually eat quite a bit myself...

The drinks and food were absolutely delicious. Although it did take some time for our orders to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait, and the staff were very friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back! I ordered the bacon and eggs on sourdough, adding a hash brown and tomato. The portion was large, and everything was cooked perfectly with delightful flavors. I also tried the iced mocha with ice cream instead of regular ice, and it was fantastic. My boyfriend had the waffles, which were possibly the best I’ve ever had, topped with caramel ice cream and butterscotch sauce—simply amazing! Even the caramelized bananas, which I usually don't enjoy, were delicious. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing brunch. Tasted really nice. Good wait staff. Got a table right away. No waiting.
