Ma And Pa’s Family Diner - Yelm

Ma and Pa's is a charming little restaurant with delicious food. The burgers are generous in size and packed with a variety of toppings. The staff is fantastic, and you definitely shouldn't miss the onion rings—they're a standout!

We had an outstanding breakfast in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There were plenty of locals dining, sharing laughter and smiles all around. We will definitely be back! The food was fantastic; my husband enjoyed the chicken fried steak while I had Ma's Scrambled. Having coffee pots on the table was a nice touch too.

I really enjoy a good diner experience. There’s something truly delightful about well-prepared comfort food in a cozy atmosphere, and this place offers both. The ambiance is charming and very welcoming. The service was quick and exceptional. However, it's really the food that matters most to me, and that's where they truly excel. The flavors are expertly combined, the textures are great, and the portions are generous. I ordered the BBQ burger while my wife had the mushroom and Swiss. Both were expertly prepared and incredibly flavorful. I can already tell that I’ll have to return to try every burger on the menu at least once. I’ll definitely be recommending this spot to my friends.

I wish I could rank Ma and Pa's higher but I need to be honest Definitely their steak and eggs is a must try, as are many of their burgers and breakfasts. (Arrive early for one of their breakfasts though, the secret is out of the bag on that topic among the locals! Their staff works hard to meet our needs-I like that. The name Ma and Pa's is accurate as they truly are a mom and pop owned operation. I do not know if this next bit is a fact but I believe that Ma and Pa's made it through the pandemic due to their large and fiercely loyal customer base. We customers are very glad that they are still with us! Highly recommended. (from what I understand, there are many services one can rank 5 star, including chefs. When I worked for a 4 star restaurant our chef informed me that when it came to restaurants, 4 star was the pinnacle other restaurants strive for.

Quaint, comfortable, little spot. The biscuits gravy was so good that I finished my plate even though it was a huge portion. The hostess/server was very friendly personable. I'll be back the next time I'm in Yelm, but will go for lunch cuz I heard other patrons talk about how good the fries are.
