Eagles Nest Event Venue - York

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here, and it was amazing from start to finish. Every staff member was courteous and engaged with us during our visit. Our server, Ted, was fantastic and attentive throughout the entire experience. He was very knowledgeable and helped us choose our delicious meals. The food was genuinely delightful and satisfying. We were too full for dessert this time, but there’s always next time! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Parking can be somewhat challenging depending on how you enter the lot. The spaces are angled, so it's recommended to approach from the front entrance of the restaurant. When I got there around 6:30 PM on a Friday, there were many available parking spots. You may need to park towards the back, but it’s just a quick walk to the entrance.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance and a lovely view, but sadly, our dining experience was disappointing. The Chesapeake chicken was overly stuffed, and the asparagus was excessively stringy. The grouper was soggy and lacking in texture, with a crab topping that had no flavor, paired with a dull sauce. My partner's filet with crab also fell short, as the crab was tasteless and filled with fillers, while the steak was tough, overcooked, and unseasoned. The calamari was likewise very tough, suggesting poor quality. Although my first drink order was correct, my second drink was mistakenly served as Coke instead of ginger ale. While the server was friendly, and I don't blame them, the hostess seemed a bit inflexible and appeared to be annoyed. I’m not sure how this restaurant has a 4.6-star rating; it feels like the reviews might be inflated. For the $200 we spent, I would definitely choose a different restaurant next time. On a positive note, the fries were quite good. However, there's no children's menu available, so it's not very kid-friendly.

I really don’t understand how this place has a 4.6-star rating; it feels like they must be buying reviews. For $200, I will certainly choose to dine elsewhere. My friend and I dined here last night and were fortunate enough to sit on the patio during sunset, which offered a stunning view! The service was excellent; our server was attentive, and the host promptly brought us drinks. It truly felt like everyone was working together to create a wonderful dining experience. We enjoyed the crab dip, two different steak dishes, and a lemon berry dessert, and everything was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend leaving some space for dessert!
