Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant Crowfoot

I was in this neck of the woods while in Calgary last week and as the parking lot did not look jammed, I thought I would pop in and grab dinner before heading back to the hotel. There were a number a families leaving at the same time and it appeared that I had just dodged a very busy dinner hour. I was told to seat myself and I stretched out in a booth so that I could catch up on my papers.My bubbly server Casey appeared quickly and after a few questions, she grabbed my order. I started with the gumbo and was thankful I chose the large bowl. This hearty soup was more like a stew and it was exactly what I needed on this cold rainy evening. I went with the braised short ribs. They were covered in a rich, dark gravy and were accompanied with baby carrots and a very different risotto treatment. The risotto was more in the shape of a crisp pancake with a wonderful, melted consistency inside. Hmm, good!The rain was still pounding down. The dinner had been so enjoyable and the service so good, I opted to spend a while longer with a piece of mud pie. That worked as the rain seemed to stop as soon as I covered my tab. I'll have to remember that in the future.

Noisy, busy and expensive. Won't be back. Food is mediocre and can think of better options. Eat at home and save your $!

Very impressed with the kind attitude of the hostess. We made use of the patio before the restaurant opened and the young lady was not rude and let us stay for some time. We frequent Brewster's but not on this day and she didn't know that, so I appreciate that we support a company who cares about all customers, not just their own.

A decent option for Pub Grub with a range of good beer options. The staff is friendly. Food is hot. You have a good children's menu to make it an option if you have the minis in tow. But it will be a bit loud; especially if you sit somewhere near the lounge side.

I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, and I was recently recommended to visit it again because I had dental work done and needed to eat soft foods.
