Vern's Pizza - Calgary

Not great.Youll hear alot about how thick they areBut its just cheap undercooked meat that is always cold.

I've had a lot of people tell me Vern's is the best pizza. it's not true. True, the toppings are fairly thick and the cheese is more generous than some places, but the overall effect is nothing special. It's ok, and definitely better than a number of other options, but nowhere near spectacular in flavor / taste / value. Only ever had delivery, not sure what the on-site is like.

Ordered many times when my teenage son and I arrived fixin for a night of pizza and then some . Lots of toppings on the verns special, hard to not want to use a fork and knife . So big. Thick and heavy. Great value when you compare this particular pizza to all other competition . Verns all the way to the end zone !!

A little over a month ago a menu and free pizza card was dropped off at my work I thought i would try it for lunch someday but it's a little far from work for lunch so I picked one up on the way home from work for dinner all I can say is I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it the crust was good but where were all the toppings cause they weren't on my pizza this FREE Pizza must be a half toppings one Hope they make them better for the paying customers

Ordered dozens for the office in past years now in 2016 they're so bad I'd order KFC Overpriced, dry, no-sauce, cold cut topping pizza. NOT pizza topping, cheap cold cuts from Mr.Sub Total garbage. Avoid.Avoid.Avoid Starvation is a happier alternative.
