H Salt Fish Chips - Carson

This place was amazing, Fresh fish clean oil and quicker than expected. Wish I can go today again, it was soooo good. I like my tarter sauce a little more sour than sweet but not. A complaint just preference we googles best fish and chips and yes everyone looked happy and excited to get their food. : will definitely be back.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. JUST LIKE I REMEMBERED SO MANY YEARS AGO...THE LOCATION IN GARDENA IS CLOSED DUE TO A FIRE...NOT SURE IF OR WHEN IT WILL REOPEN...BUT THE HSALT IN CARSON IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS....

One of my favorite places since childhood. Some places offer you fish fingers, this place offers practically fish patties! And the chips (fries) *Chef's kiss* tasty, even without ketchup. Lastly, this may just be me, but the extra charge for their tartar sauce is so worth it!

One of the last remaining H. Salt Fish and Chips locations is still operating. Don’t come expecting a fancy atmosphere or a five-star dining experience; it’s quite casual. I visited another branch near the studio, and I found the quality of the ingredients to be consistently good. I occasionally used some coupons, but they aren't frequently offered. Since each branch is a franchise, don’t expect any strong marketing efforts.

I found the fish to be too greasy, and even though there were no other customers in the restaurant, it took around 30 minutes for our order to arrive. To make things worse, when our food finally came, it was handed to us in a bag, and we were told that the restaurant was closing and we couldn't eat there. It was frustrating because we had planned to dine in, and it would have been helpful if they had informed us about their closing time before we placed our order.
