La Casita De Cortez

Absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything is made fresh, and the dishes look even better than in the photos. As soon as you sit down, they bring you chips and salsa. We tried the house guacamole, steak fajitas, and fish tacos, and everything was outstanding. The fish tacos were grilled to perfection and served on warm tortillas, while the steak in the fajitas was full of flavor. Highly recommended!

If you find yourself near Cortez, CO, this place is an absolute must-visit! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would! The Guacamole Fresco is simply the best; it’s amazing with tortilla chips or even just eaten by the spoonful! The Shrimp Taco Special was the best my husband has ever had, and the Asada Fajitas were equally delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive as well!

I love it! We sat immediately and our server was the most friendly and sweetest man ever! He let us laugh so often and it was such a welcoming and comfortable mood here. We had margaritas and I would highly recommend the cortez. Delicious! We also got free chips and salsa. The chips were still warm and the house salsa was amazing! All we ordered was wonderful and we also tried the desserts. The churros with ice was my favorite and I would pass on the flan. Make sure this is one of your stops! Your belly will thank you!

AMAZING Food!!! The chefs create some of the Tastiest Mexican food I have had in a great many years!!! We were served by Obed and Anabelle, 2 amazingly kind and knowledgeable individuals. I ordered the shrimp and chorizo asada fajitas, and Buffalo wings, and my girlfriend ordered the Sopa Pollo Tortilla soup. Clean restrooms too. This place is an undiscovered Gem of a place!

We accidentally stopped here on a ski trip, and from now on I’m making our family stop here every time because WOW!!! The food was delicious and authentic, the service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced, and the entire establishment was clean and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend it enough! PS: be sure to get the churros, they’re beyond amazing.
