One of the worst croissants I've ever had...tasted like a loaf of bread and was under baked in the middle. I picked off the outer layer and threw out the rest. Super disappointed. The latte was okay but I won't be back. I don't understand why people like the croissants here. Yeah, they're big, but they're not flaky and delicious. The cheap croissants you get at Costco are better

These massive croissants are not just impressive for their girth, but they are also packing in nice flavour combos and have a lovely texture. These are not your traditional Parisian croissants, these are something unique. My friend and I ran across the Macdonald bridge to indulge in one of these bad boys.

This cafe is so adorable, the coffee was delicious, the pastries were delicious, it was so worth the visit. I had a pain au chocolat and an almond croissant, both were moist and tasted just like something I’d get in French. I highly recommended stopping by TIBS, it made my visit to Halifax so much better.

How could you not give this place five stars? Croissants the size of your head and incredible coffee make it worth the drive across the bridge on a Sunday morning. I've literally ran from the rotary just to get a croissant and Americano on a beautiful summer Saturday and it was so so so worth it (tough run back though! My only complaint is the healthy grumpiness the staff show for people who don't know what they want in line honestly just makes me laugh! ? Will be a regular here for years to come.

So happy to see this cafe is still going strong. I used to work at a law office up the road and became addicted to the amazing chocolate croissants. Wowza these things are amazing, and big enough to share! Will be heading to the city tomorrow and I am 100% coming here! Definitely a spot to check out when you’re in the city.
