The Roof At The Durham

My boyfriend and I attended the roof at the Durham Hotel this past Saturday night for drinks before we headed downtown to dinner.

The roof top is excellent, great bar, view and ambience My only issue is that there is just one elevator and the lines are long.

Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water.

Great staff friendly fast service great location the drinks were just right

Took my daddy for the first time for Father's Day and he loved it! !!!
