Kumar Military Hotel Restaurant

This restaurant in Salem is well-known and popular. A few months ago, I went there for dinner with my friends. We had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. It is a family-owned restaurant and the food had a homely, hot, and spicy flavor.

I have visited this cozy little restaurant in Kondallampatti multiple times. Despite being a small, traditional establishment, the place is clean and serves delicious Kuska (plain biryani). It pairs perfectly with the spicy chicken or mutton fry or chukka. They also offer parotas. If you are traveling from Salem to Coimbatore or Trichy, make sure to stop by this place at least once – you'll want to come back again.

A friend brought me to this small, popular non-vegetarian hotel. When we visited, only dosa and non-vegetarian options were available. The kurma was spicy, but since we only had dosa, we didn't get to taste the other dishes.

Have been to this place several times. Excellent food. You should try their Kushka. Mouth watering. A must visit for all non veg eaters.
