Wild Catch Cafe - Harbor Rd, Whittier

We disembarked from our cruise ship around 7:00am, we are taking the Train to Anchorage… which doesn’t leave Whittier until 6:45pm?? We decided to check out the Wild Catch Cafe… it was awesome, breakfast croissant was delicious, we spoke with the staff if we could hang out for awhile and they were gracious enough to say “No problem “ … they even let us store our luggage while we walked the town!!! The owner and staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating, would stop and chat if they had a moment… even though they were busy. You should stop in at Wild Catch Cafe, you will not be dissatisfied, the food is amazing, had breakfast and lunch there!!! Don’t miss this place when in Whittier Alaska!!!

Brought my tour group of 10 people here for dinner, and enjoyed a great tasty dinner that all enjoyed, and we also pre-ordered breakfast for the next day too. It was perfect! Thanks so much! We even saw a black bear roaming around behind the cafe!

Fish and chips are really good, nice staff and cool place to chill if you're waiting for the train or ferry.

This restaurant is not fancy but you will have the best fish and chips halibut) and the Salmon burger which is a piece of Salmon grill with onions, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun with fry’s and it’s so delicious! The price is accordingly with the market value. Tamie H

I was uncertain about the portion size at first, but I was pleasantly surprised with a generous serving of four sizable pieces. The food was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the blueberry wheat!
