The Halibut Fish Chips were pipin’ hot and delicious!

Average at best. Chowder and chili was barely lukewarm. I asked for some crackers to go with chili and was abruptly told no. I guess when you’re one of the only restaurants open on a cold rainy Tuesday you can treat customers anyway you want to.

The halibut fish chips were excellent!! We each got 5 large pieces of halibut. They were perfectly done. Good crunch on the batter and fresh fish pieces. Very filling. Also gave an option for a fresh spinach salad vs fries. It too was good. Topped off with cold Alaskan Pilsner.

Great place to have dinner. We came in late, just before closing. The owner made sure that we had something to eat and even served a few people that came in after us. He realized that most of the restaurants in the area had already closed and made sure no one went without dinner. They had sold out of a few items, but still had options for everyone. The food was great too. Really appreciated how well the owner took care of everyone. Thanks!

Great lunch spot after seeing on the Alaska Marine Highway. Best Halibut fiah and chips we’ve had in Alaska! Service was quick, staff attentive and a cozy little dining room!
