Grumpy Jeff's Public House - Ione

The owner informed us that it was the last day of operation as he was putting all his focus into his brewery, we were sad about the closing but happy for him for sure, and even happier after a couple of good hot dogs too! Good luck to you Grumpy Jeff!

Amazing Burger and Potato ? Salad. Food was way better than expected. If you happen to find yourself in the wee little town of Ione, CA then this place is a must!

Right off the bat as they say, I give um 4 stars because they actually a decent dark beer. The place was clean and didn't stink like cigarettes like Tilleys. I'm sorry if I misspelled the name it stinks inside just the same. The help was quick and polite, also the prices were decent. I will be coming back here again.

I enjoyed Grumpy Jeff's and found Jeff himself not grumpy at all...I like a taproom that sells a 22 ounce beer,...my kinda place,..I'll be back with more time to enjoy the place as well as the area.
