Taiwan Bowl - San Marcos

After a full day of tubing, my friends and I stopped by this Taiwanese restaurant. In a group of 9 people on Sunday ~5pm, we were able to be seated right away, the restaurant was not very busy. We ordered an assortment of dishes to share family-style, based on their suggestions and our preferences. Overall, the food was very average in my opinion. The workers were extremely friendly and kept checking in to see how things were. The parking is kind of limited in their small shared lot. The noise level is low.

A great authentic Taiwanese restaurant with the most amazing service and top quality food. Don?t let the interior fool you, it is a great place to eat and the portions are massive, especially for the pretty cheap price. They have lunch and dinner specials, and a wide variety of food to pic from, for all types of dietary restrictions. The owner is especially kind and makes sure that you get everything you want. Would highly recommend as a place to have as a typical lunch spot, or just a new type of cuisine style to try!

Came here with some friends after casually skydiving. Friend suggested a legit Taiwanese style place and this was within the san marcos area. Very quaint and legit hole in the wall spot.Atmosphere: Very small but quaint, you'll get a mom and pop type feel. Complete with small tables and TV's playing taiwanese commercials. Certainly not the most luxurious but that's not the stand out here.Food: Oh man, maybe it's because I haven't had legit taiwanese food in a while but this really stood out especially within Texas. I went with a group so we ate things family style. We ended up getting chicken and fried fish, with the fried fish easily being my favorite. Just enough breading and delectable savoriness that I would easily get it again.Service: Counter top style service, you order from the counter and they remember the table you sit at and then serve your food. I was greeted by the owner this time around and she gave a little story on her shop which made it even more charming.Certainly worth a try if you are in the San Marcos area and/or just craving taiwanese food. Would easily recommend.

I had the crispy chicken (so good) and noodle bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the main dishes to the homeade sauces. The staff and owner were very friendly. Fairly priced for the serving ssizes. DIining area has booths for a more intimate setting and bigger tables for families. Definitely will be returning!

Worlds nicest lady. She even gave me a free sample of pork to try with my meal! Always delicious
