The Pita Shop - San Marcos

I admit, I have high standards, but this restaurant is fantastic! The pitas are absolutely delicious, the owner is wonderful, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I’m 42 years old, and this place really lifts my spirits. I ordered the chicken puppy, while my husband chose the lamb gyro. The fries are perfectly salted and full of flavor, and the pita bread is light, airy, and fluffy, bursting with taste! As for the hummus, I usually prefer just basic flavor, but this one is creamy and delightful! You definitely need to check this place out!

I had heard great things about this restaurant, and I'm so glad we decided to go! The gyro was tender, hot, and fresh. The fries were also well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. However, the true star of the meal was the garlic sauce. Oh my goodness, it was amazing! Do yourself a favor and order a side of it—it's definitely worth it!

I absolutely loved this café! It’s a cozy spot with fantastic food. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma bowl and wrap, as well as the Chicken Tikka bowl and wrap, and both dishes were incredible! The fries were also delicious, and they serve a secret sauce that's so tasty. If you're visiting San Antonio, Austin, or San Marcos, I highly recommend checking this place out! The owner is really great too.

I had a wonderful dining experience during dinner at this restaurant. The meal was truly exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5 for the food. Every dish was delicious and well-prepared. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, though I would rate it slightly lower at a 4. Overall, for a price range of $10–20 per person, this place offers great value and a delightful experience.
