Chandlers - West Dunbartonshire

After months of lockdown, I finally went out for a meal. I decided to go to Chandlers because it is close by and we didn't need a reservation. We had amazing food and enjoyed a few cold Guinness. We ended up staying for about 3 hours. The staff was very friendly, so I will definitely come back. I didn't even realize they served food at first, but I'm glad I found out.

Not been in Chandlers since 1994 and it was a scratch I’d wanted to itch for years. In my mind I thought it’d be all wine bar and gentrified etcetera but to be honest it’s went the other way; a bit of a dump. Disappointing never go back they say...mm so true

I visited Chandlers today after checking out the menu online. It turns out the menu had been updated to a new Gallus menu, which I found to be quite high-end. I'm not sure if it will be well-received by the usual customers. I ordered a Gallus burger, although I couldn't see the price on the menu and my daughter was paying so I didn't mind. The burger was served on a side plate without the accompanying side salads as listed on the menu, but thankfully I had ordered chips as well. The burger was decent, but the standout were the chips, which were amazing. My only complaint is that there was no brown sauce available for my chips.

Good traditional pub not up market full of real people with cheap good meals which are great for the money

Had time to kill in Clydebank so nipped in here and I'm glad I did. Felt welcomed and enjoyed a lovely pint. Food looked good too.
