Scooter's Coffee - Yankee Hill

I arrived just a few minutes before closing and ordered a medium turtle latte. When I received it, I was taken aback by how light the cup felt, so I let the foam settle for a moment. To my surprise, the cup was less than half full! I understand it was nearing closing time and the staff were getting ready to wrap up their shifts, but I believe they could have at least filled it three-quarters full. I've had great experiences with the staff and service here in the past, but this time I left feeling disappointed.

I highly recommend that the restaurant reevaluate its policy of serving drinks before customers have settled their bills. In this place, coffee is often brought out on a tray before I finish my payment, which is quite frustrating. I usually have my phone ready to pay while holding a gift card in my other hand, and this practice can create the misleading impression that the drink is complimentary. Additionally, the upselling is excessively aggressive; they promote the frosted pink cookies not only at the ordering speaker but also again at the pickup window.

The staff is exceptionally welcoming, and the coffee provided here is the finest you'll find in the area!

My girlfriend loves their coffee, so when I surprise her with a cup and a pastry, I definitely score some points! That's why I would rate it a perfect 5 out of 5!
