Mamacita's - San Marcos

This restaurant offers a spacious layout with a beautiful interior. In the center of the seating area, they've adorned a lovely well with flowers. The lively Mexican music creates a perfect atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, with the fried shrimp being the standout dish. The staff is friendly and attentive, taking your preferences into account and are happy to recommend the most popular items from the menu. There's a wide variety to choose from, and I especially enjoy the enchiladas. Plus, the chips and salsa are all freshly made.

My husband and I are on vacation celebrating my birthday, and we chose to dine at Mamacita after looking for recommendations online. I’m so glad we did! The shrimp enchiladas were amazing! The sauce was incredibly delicious and just melted in my mouth!

I visited Mamacitas with the intention of ordering Huevos Rancheros, only to discover they don't serve them. So, I opted for the Chicken Fajitas for one, and there was plenty of food. Honestly, if I had someone with me, we could have easily shared it. I ended up taking the leftovers to work for lunch, and they still tasted fantastic. I was there during a lull in my schedule due to my unusual work hours, and since I was seated at the bar, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere which included two TVs. The staff was very welcoming and didn’t seem bothered by my presence. The chicken in the fajitas was tender and flavorful. They offer a choice between Charro beans and Pinto beans, and I chose the Charro beans. That was the only letdown of the meal, as they tasted like canned Ranch Style beans. I'm sure they would have swapped them out if I had asked, but I had plenty of food and was heading to work.

Great food. Great waiting staff. Our children chicken nugget order was short a nugget and without any vapours they brought it out of fantasy style. Children have a big laugh. She took a picture of it and sent it to me. Great place to take the family.

Had a great time at the restaurant. Took the whole family out for our son's birthday. Staff was amazing thank you.
